Yorkshire Fashion Archive | Brand identity
Based at the University of Leeds, It provides a unique historical record of Yorkshire life and documents clothing produced, purchased and worn by Yorkshire folk throughout the 20th Century.
The identity needed to look authoritative and established but not old fashioned. We created a simple one colour typographically led – ‘modern classic’ identity.
A series of exhibitions were held throughout Yorkshire to promote the ‘Archive’, most notably at Bradford’s Salt’s Mill Gallery. We designed posters, postcards and literature to promote these events.
A range of effective and economical one colour print collateral and stationery for the Archive was designed, incorporating playful use of the brand’s black dots.
